Rationale

Gathering all of my ideas into one space, a rational has been put together in preparation of revealing what I have in store for my target audience, to my target audience. Then with their opinions on the product, I can finish stitching together the story going off of the responses received.

Getting ready to present it now, I have only managed to get three people on board with attending my pitch. More would have been idea, yes, but with scheduling conflicts it can be difficult getting everyone in the same space at once.

With a room chosen to get this done in, I have settled on voice recording the whole presentation rather than going with the camera or survey options. Reason being that not everyone in my audience would have be comfortable having to be on camera. That including me. Then with using surveys, the responses won't be as fresh compared to getting them straight up. Causing the participants to possibly forget a question that had popped to mind during, and it even gives me and the audience more of a discussion over the concerns.

With the pitch over and done with now, all who were included all seemed quite pleased with the Mary Ann Cotton idea. Receiving two, really three, questions and a suggestion for the outcome, I can now begin to move onto the next stage.

About the comments made, the first question asked was for me to explain a theory I had mentioned during one of the slide's but didn't go into any detail with. Called the 'Forbidden Thinking Theory', I wasn't actually sure whether or not to explain it so had left it in hopes of catching someone's attention letting them want to ask about it. Telling them of how this theory believes we as humans enjoy learning about serial killers and learn of the crimes they had committed is all due to us not having the guts to act out our bad intentions. Whereas for those who do act on them thoughts, it pleasures us in a way to see that. The explaining process could have went better, but they seemed to be satisfied with my answer.

Being a two-part question, the first half was asking if my product is to actually be set in the Victorian era. Answering yes, the next part shared a concern the same I am having about the production of it. Wanting to know what my plans were for creating the Victorian image, I had confessed to currently continuing to work that out with the mention of charity shops being used for the clothing and props.

As for the suggestion, finding the location Beamish to have a Victorian setting, it was recommended that I look into filming there. Never even considering it, it was definitely a great pointer that I will be looking into doing.

With my plans finalized now, I can go ahead and make a start on the pre-production.
